MtaaLink ("we", "us", "our") is a management platform for organizations, built and operated in Kenya. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Who We Are

2. What We Collect
When you use MtaaLink, we collect the following:
- Account information: Your name, email address, phone number, and organization name.
- Organization data: Member names, phone numbers, groups, contributions, meeting minutes, project details, events, and expenses that you enter into the platform.
- Login credentials: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption. We never store your password in plain text.
- Usage data: Basic technical information such as your browser type and IP address, used only for security and to keep the service working.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to:
- Provide the MtaaLink service — managing your organization's members, contributions, meetings, and reports.
- Send you account emails (verification, password reset, notifications you request).
- Keep your account secure.
- Improve the platform based on how it is used.
We do not sell your data. We do not advertise. We do not share your data with anyone except the limited third parties below.
4. Third-Party Services
To operate MtaaLink, we use a small number of trusted third parties:
- Brevo — to send transactional emails (verification, password reset).
- Render — for secure application hosting.
- Cloudflare — for domain, DNS, and security.
These providers only process the minimum data necessary to deliver their service. We do not share your organization's content with them beyond what is needed to send an email or host the service.
5. Where Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit. We take reasonable steps to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Access to your organization's data is restricted to members of your own organization. No other customer, and no MtaaLink employee, can access your organization's content unless you explicitly request support.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — see what data we hold about you.
- Correct — update incorrect information.
- Export — download your data. Every report can be exported to PDF from within the app.
- Delete — request deletion of your account and data by emailing sukanoelijah@gmail.com.
7. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
8. Children
MtaaLink is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or within the app. Continued use of MtaaLink means you accept the updated policy.
